Screen (USA) hosted a series
of open houses last June 26 to 28, 2012 at Rolling
Meadows, Ill. to give printing companies and stakeholders a chance to see and
test the latest equipment in digital printing and imaging solutions.
The event was held in the
Screen’s newly expanded Demonstration Center. Among the newest equipment
showcased in the event were the latest in the Truepress digital inkjet printing
system such as the Truepress JetSX inkjet sheetfed press and Truepress Jet
W1632UV wide-format flatbed inkjet printer.
Tom Leibrandt, the print on
demand product manager of Screen urged the attendees to look at their latest
offerings and discover how their products can help businesses become more
profitable. The attendees were all impressed as they discovered that “Screen
inkjet printing systems and associated technologies offer substantial
advantages when it comes to quality, cost and productivity.” That’s according
to Sean Dawson, product manager for large format and workflow.
The latest additions in
digital printing will provide additional creative opportunities to print shops
as they become more diversified. We can expect to see more new equipment in the
years to come.

That's a really good step taken by Rolling Meadows. This would only further better business as more and more printing companies become aware of whatever's latest in the printing industry. Of course, anything that technology offers is for higher efficiency and new solutions. I believe that events such as these is very important.
